Dear Sam, I’m so glad you’re finally coming! There’s one small problem, though. Your flight lands at two on Thursday afternoon and I’ll be stuck at work until six, so I won’t be able to meet you at the airport. I did ask for the day off, but two people in my team are away that week. Getting to my flat is easy. Take the express train from the airport to Central Station, which takes about half an hour, then the number 12 bus from the stop outside the main entrance. Get off at the library, and my building is the white one directly opposite. My neighbour Mrs Lee in flat 3 has a spare key and is expecting you, so just ring her bell. Have a rest when you get in, because I’ve got plenty planned. On Friday evening we’re going to the night market, and on Saturday I’ve booked a boat trip round the bay.
